So to combat the damage time and sun does to my skin I use sunscreen of course, but I also like to try out skin creams and see if they make a difference.
After doing a ton of research, I decided to use a hyaluronic acid serum to treat my skin at the beginning and the end of the day. It’s been about a month now and I decided to share what I experienced and write up a review!
Aline Skin Care
So, after reading a ton of reviews and doing my homework on hyaluronic acid serum's. I decided that this product would work best.
One of the reasons I decided to go with Aline is because, although hyaluronic acid was the main ingredient. It also contained a bunch of other ingredients that have proven to be effective in reducing wrinkles and repairing damaged skin.
Why Hyaluronic Acid Works
But lately hyaluronic acid has found a whole new set of uses. From firming skin to plastic surgery. It is sometimes used as a safer alternative to collagen lip injections. It seems like every few years more and more uses for this stuff are being discovered. Each one more positive than the other. So, it seemed like a logical choice for skin cream.
How I Used it
So every morning after I showered I would rub a tiny drop of hyaluronic acid serum on my face. I would also follow up at the end of the day. Also on occasion, If I were to wash my face mid-day, I would reapply.
When I say "tiny drop", that means the minimal amount to cover my face and neck. It was usually the size of a pea, at times a little more. In order to spread such a small amount evenly, I would spot dab it on different parts of my face and neck, then rub in.
Does it really matter how much I used and how I used it, probably not. My goal was to try to get the most applications out of this tiny bottle. Also to make sure to apply when ever I had totally a naked clean face. You can use it as you see appropriate, but I recommend one to two applications a day.
I know, enough jibber-jabber, let's get into the review!
Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum Review
Feel : Silky and very smooth to the touch. It's not oily, but feels kind of like a slick gel in between the fingers.
Feel on Face : It also has a slightly cooling effect on the sensitive parts of the face. Easy to apply and a small portion spreads very evenly. Rubs right in without any residue, drys without leaving you feeling oily.
Value : I don’t want to taint your decision with the price. You might think the amount you get, the bottle isn't much. But you get alot of applications and overall, we worth it. ( not expensive)
Verdict: Is Hyaluronic Acid worth it?
It didn’t take long for me to get a complement on my appearance. Within the first week a co-worker said I looked "Vibrant", later on followed with, "Are you getting collagen treatments?"
Yes, this stuff is very effective. The comments I received just reassured me that the changes I saw day by day where noticeable to others. This is a keeper and I expect to continue using it for years to come.
